"The symbolism of a Rainbow intuitively tells us to hold onto hope"

Xtraweld Services Ltd had the pleasure of designing and fabricating something very different to our usual scope of work.

The pandemic had a huge impact on everyone. We were approached to come up with something to help people who were worse affected by Covid, to bring them some small happiness whilst they were in hospital and also for somewhere where the key workers of the hospital could have 5 minutes of peace. We couldn't thing of anything better than these rainbows which are featured at the gardens within Stafford County Hospital and UHNS.

Covid was a awful time for everyone, loosing loved ones and adapting to a new way of life. Many patients were in hospital on their own facing the awful effects of Covid and we hope these rainbows were able to bring some joy for them during this time. Xtraweld Services Ltd would like to thank all the employees  who were involved in both the fabrication and installation of these.

AEDDonate Defibrillator
26 Mar, 2021
AEDDonate are an amazing local charity which supply external AED to local hotspots such as schools, pubs and outdoor areas to help with risk of sudden cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, not long after the installation of their unit on the High Street, it was vandalised and had to be removed from service. Our Project Manager Kevin Davies was contacted by Richard at AEDDonate to see if there was anything we could do in order to get this vital piece of equipment running again. Xtraweld were able to create a new casing for the Defibrillator and reinstall it back on the High Street .
